01- Wire

Well now, It's been awhile since I've uploaded a robot onto my DA account. The idea for this guy came when I was rehashing an old "meddling-kids" story in the way back of the Kyuubi mental filing cabinet.

The basic shtick is that megacorp,in the late seventies, created a series of robots to operate in different environments. The project did succeed in a sense, the robots proved to be more what they were programmed for and proceeded to almost kill a scientist. The incident lead to the megacorp to decide to put these robots into indefinite storage until a solution was found for the "Intelligence equation". (Yes, this is all playing the soft-sci-fi card fairly hard, but this universe runs on comic book logic.) For a decade or two, the robots were hushed within the corporation and almost forgotten about. However, one enterprising employee found the first robot created, 01-WIR, and brought it out thinking it prove to be a nice lobby piece. 01-WIR's processors came alive and then thought a company lobby was cramping "his" style. He promptly ran the door thus starting the quest to find the real meaning behind the robots and the various stories that intersect because of them.

Designation: 01-WIR (goes by Wire)
Intended Purpose: To move within dense underbrush/jungle and stop illegal activities in such places (such as drug labs and bad-guy hideouts.)
Base: Cat
Personality: Wire could be best described as a Chaotic Neutral type and he certainly takes his actions as an act of personal freedom. He tends to view the world as on giant show and he's the audience. Wire will make blunt commentary on the heroes of a given story and promptly push buttons till he gets a reaction. For the record, he hasn't hurt anybody and wouldn't think to kill. He puts it as " I don't harm you people because I care about your well-being, but because you're entertaining to me." There are signs he might be wanting to make deeper connections with other beings and see then less as actors in his favorite show.
